“No one has ever become poor by giving.” – Anne Frank

I think we all can agree that selflessness and helping others are some of the most incredible and inspirational acts to witness and/or be a part of.  However, I do think if we’re being realistic.. giving isn’t always easy. More often than not, it’s inconvenient. It requires sacrifice of some kind- whether it’s time, money, etc.  Sometimes we’re even judged or criticized– “Shouldn’t you be saving up for —?” “What makes you think what you’re doing is helping?”– you can use your imagination/experience to add to these examples.  We see the man in the video donate money to beggars on the street “for education,” and a man watching this exchange occur rolls his eyes at, which we can assume means that he doesn’t believe this money will be put towards and/or help this child get into school. Yet if you kept watching, you see that wasn’t the case.

Giving may not always be easy, but it’s absolutely worth it. CCH is a great place to take part in giving!

We live in a world that is filled with heartbreak/needs/hurts.. and rising resources to meet those needs. Covenant Children’s Homes is one of those resources. We are seeing futures changed every day for children in India who were previously written off to have no future. We provide these children with an education, a home, a family. We’re sharing the love of Jesus with our children and staff, and are demonstrating the power, love and story of Jesus with India. Though it’s not our intent, those of us involved with CCH find ourselves being blessed and touched by our involvement with CCH. CCH’s impact is continuing to expand and all the glory goes to God. You’re invited to be a part of this impact!!

At CCH, there are so many ways to give:

You can lift us up in prayer, for our physical, emotional, and spiritual needs.
You can make a one-time gift towards our college, summer camp, Christmas, or general fund.
You can become a sponsor for a 5-or-10 child home.
You can volunteer your time/skills as a part of our Development Team.
You can come volunteer on the ground, in India, and meet different children and members of CCH.

If any of these ways of giving has caught your heart or interest, we’d love to give you more information! Please feel free to contact us via any of our social media platforms (buttons are below this post) or e-mail cchblogger@icmin.org and I’ll connect you to the right person!
