T-minus 7 days until Christmas Day! Just as your family is preparing for this holiday, so is our CCH family over in India. However, unlike the USA, Christmas is not a widely-celebrated holiday in India. It’s not honored to the point that all our CCH children have no “Christmas break” from school, and CCH makes arrangements with each of their schools so that our children are able to all come together and spend one day celebrating the birth of Jesus! There’s a special spirit that’s a part of coming together as a family and sharing a meal together. We believe in the power and importance of fellowship, which is why we all come together for a Christmas celebration and welcome the village to join us as well.

Here’s a sneak peek at the beautiful Christmas banner we have planned for our Christmas festival!

cchfamilyThere will be wrapped presents, music, and dancing (an essential to a truly Indian party), cake, and brightly colored Christmas decorations galore. All our children, their pastors and pastor’s families will come together to celebrate as one united family. We also invite the people living in their village to come celebrate with us as well. We want anyone and everyone to feel genuinely invited to participate in celebrating Christmas.

Your donations help us to treat each CCH home with Christmas presents for everybody. Each donation of $25 gives a child a new outfit, a pillow and a pillowcase, while also helping fund the Christmas party.

But we need your help to make this happen!! Our Christmas fundraiser is still going on!

“Christmas means giving. The Father gave his Son, and the Son gave His life. Without giving, there is no true Christmas, and without sacrifice there is no true worship.” – Hinckley
