“But when adults speak up for the vulnerable and the weak, working and demanding that safety and respect prevail, God’s little lambs are protected and nourished. They know they are not abandoned; they are loved. And the world becomes a little more like heaven as a result.” – Wes Stafford
“We can’t help everyone, but everyone can help someone.” – Ronald Reagan
“I used to be afraid I wouldn’t make enough money; now I’m afraid I won’t make enough difference.” Bob Goff, Love Does
Who is a CCH sponsor? What does a CCH sponsor look like?
Throughout Sponsorship September with CCH, we hope it’s given you a glimpse of the impact a home sponsorship can make. However, maybe you don’t feel like you fit the qualifications of “what a sponsor should look like.” To that, I say: reconsider.
A sponsor might look like..
..a step of faith by a small group, wanting to pool their resources and make an impact outside of their own lives and their loved ones’ lives.
..parents letting their children be involved in their generosity, being an example of bold love, hope for the future, and faith in God.
..a church community pledging to not only be the “church” for their local community, but their brothers and sisters overseas.
..a company who wants to use their tax-deductible donations to consistently stand with and support non-profit work overseas.
We also have the option of becoming a “CCH Sustainer” where you pledge $50, $75, or $100 monthly towards CCH’s needs.
A CCH Sustainer might look like..
..a college student who wants to trust God with their finances but can’t realistically sponsor a complete home.
..a single parent who has a heart for helping the underprivileged children.
..an individual who would believes in the impact CCH is making and wants to start with a small donation, which could someday lead to sponsoring a home.
We would also LOVE for you to donate with the Harness App, which allows you to make small donations throughout the month by having this app “round-up” your purchases to the next dollar and donate whatever that amount would be.
